Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette, born 31 January 1937, who died 19 January 2008 was an American film, television, theatre, and voice actress. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and was featured in films in the late 1950s. In later years, she was an important actor in films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette was a frequent guest on various television productions. She also appeared in Emily Hartley, which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on January 31 of 1937. Her parents were Jewish, the descendants of emigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was a dancer and artist who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan as well as the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
