In the July issue of Vanity Fair from July 2003 the magazine featured her as one of the most popular teenage stars of this year. In 2004, Vega filmed two movies: Sleepover, and State's Evidence. In the Lifetime television film Odd Girl Out as a cyberbully, she starred in the year 2005. In 2006, she starred in a television film in 2006 called Walkout. As of 2007, she wrapped her filming Remember the Daze which was only made available to limited theaters. Repo was finished. The Genetic Opera released in the year 2008. 10 years ago, Vega was confirmed as the main character in Helix which was written and directed by Aram Rappaport. Helix started filming in Chicago on March 8, 2008. She had been originally scheduled to appear in the film Shorts of 2009 by Robert Rodriguez film Shorts, however, due to her being in Australia for filming Broken Hill, she had been recast. Kat Dennings was cast in her role. Penny is a character who played on Broadway's Hairspray. Then, in 2009, she played Ruby Gallagher on the ABC Family television show, Ruby & the Rockits, in which she also appeared alongside Patrick and David Cassidy. Vega appeared as Wick in the 2012 film The Devil's Carnival, a film by director Darren Lynn Bousman and screenwriter Terrance Zdunich. They previously was a co-writer together with Vega in Repo! The Genetic Opera. 12 years ago, Vega appeared throughout 2012 on 2br/1ba produced by Rob Margolies, a thriller produced by Rob Margolies, with Spencer Grammer and Kathryn Morris. Vega appeared in The Pregnancy Project on Lifetime Channel and completed her animated film The Clockwork Girl. The Mine, a film produced by Vega and released in the year 2010 It was not shown in public in a tiny viewers. Vega has also voiced Christina in the animated show Unsupervised.
